Several years ago I inherited a set of gold and amethyst jewelry (a ring, bracelet and earrings) but seldom wore it because the earrings had clip-on backs and I was afraid I would lose them.  I had been advised by a couple of local jewelry stores here in Northern Virginia that converting the earring backs to posts was too challenging because they would need to heat the metal in order to add the post and might risk damaging the stone and/or the gold in the process.  Edelweiss' jewelers were up to the task, though, and did a beautiful job of modifying the earrings, finally enabling me to wear all three pieces in the set.  They are now a regular feature in my wardrobe and a source of both compliments and warm memories of my husband's parents.  Thank you, Edelweiss.

As someone with very little expirience buying jewelry, let alone and engagement ring, I was overwhelmed when beginning the process of how to find or create something that my now fiance' would love. Ryan made this process not only easy and painless, but he absolutely knocked it out of the part when it came to the final design of the ring and band. I could count what I knew about engagement rings on one finger (pun very much intended) and I went into the process pretty anxious. And late. Thankfully, Ryan at Edelweiss provided clarity, both in the diamond and in the process, with every step. Ring was produced both quickly and beautifully.

My wife and I began looking at engagement rings about a year before I asked her to marry me.
